Description

Please view fully zoomed in and thank you anybody who takes a look.

Edit: I wasn't happy with the shade of yellow I used to give the image what I hope is a dreamy evening sun feel so I changed it. I also added some more cool shade to the shadow side of Del's face and body. Finally I gave the image a tighter crop.

This is a really, really late birthday gift for TheWildGrape It's been rattling around in my head a long time and depicts The Wildgrape's OC Adele Farlong, half Drow, Duellist and shard bearer extraordinaire from the world of Neverwinter Nights 2. She's the main character in The Wildgrape's fan fiction story 'Half of You, Half of Me'. I can heartily recommend it and you can find it here www.fanfiction.net/s/4724474/1… The object of Adele's conflicted feelings is the delectable and detestable Ranger Bishop who no doubt would point and laugh and gut her (not necessarily in that order) if he caught her ogling him. TheWildGrape is a skilled artist and you can find more images of Adele, Bishop and others in her gallery. I just hope I have done 'Del' justice. :faint:

Again I ended up experimenting wildly which is probably a bad idea when you work on a gift. It also seems when I finally allow myself to use more than three colours in a painting, I go all psychedelic. I'm sorry Wildgrape. I will let it fester a bit and then come back to it.

I used a selection of brushes from this collection fav.me/d70ti8o

Bishop belongs to Obsidian and Adele belongs to TheWildGrape

Oh gosh Gaspode, if I haven't said recently how much I love the way you light your pieces, I'll say it here...I love, love, love the way you oh so casually throw light into your feasts for the eyes. And the detail makes me want to count every single blade of grass, or take a peek into that knot hole to see if there's something living in there. So beautiful!
